Hello everyone!
Welcome to JesusMusicOldies.com. From 1998 through 2011, Jesus Music Oldies™ had the pleasure of being the premiere voice of Jesus Music and early CCM on the web.
For those new to this site, Jesus Music Oldies™ was a web based radio station that broadcast the best of the Jesus Music era, which included the 1960s and most of the 1970s. Artists from that era include 2nd Chapter of Acts, Barry McGuire, Larry Norman, Randy Stonehill, Phil Keaggy, Love Song, and the Maranatha! Music stable of groups and singers. Those artists and many others were featured on Jesus Music Oldies™ web radio. In 2011, because of the increase in fees that were imposed on web based radio stations from the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act), Jesus Music Oldies™ had to cease broadcasting. More recently (late 2015), the fees were increased again leading to the demise of our former host site, Live365, which today is back but at a high cost per station.
This website archives information from that era. Our goal today is to publish online the database of Jesus Music and CCM albums we've been documenting for over 40 years. That is in the works so stay tuned.
In the meantime, we'll continue to point you in the direction where you can hear Jesus Music, as well as where you can buy the artists' albums when they are available.
So have a look around, check out the links page for your favorite Jesus Music artists' own websites (periodically updated), click on the album links to download their music from Amazon.com (slowly being updated), and try our Jesus Music Oldies™ Pandora and Slacker stations for a mix of early and later CCM.
